A New Way Forward in 2026

Why We Are Introducing Pay-What-You-Can Entry and Partnering With Myles Ahead

As we move into 2026, the Holistic Healing Fair™ is entering a new chapter. One rooted in accessibility, prevention, and meaningful impact.

After listening closely to our community, observing the realities families are facing, and reflecting on the responsibility we hold as a wellness-centered space, we are introducing a pay-what-you-can entrance model at all Holistic Healing Fairs™ in 2026.

This means everyone is welcome, whether they are able to donate or not.

And when donations are given, they will support a cause that deeply aligns with why these fairs exist in the first place.

Where Entrance Donations Are Going

All optional entrance donations will support Myles Ahead, a registered Canadian charity advancing child and youth mental health through prevention, early intervention, and systems-level change.

We did not choose this partnership lightly.

Why We Chose Myles Ahead

Myles Ahead was founded in honour of Myles, who was lost far too soon at just 11 years old. What began as a mother’s grief became a commitment to ensuring fewer families ever face that kind of loss.

At its core, Myles Ahead focuses on one essential truth:
suicide prevention begins long before crisis.

Rather than only responding once a child is already in distress, Myles Ahead works to improve how children and youth are supported earlier through:

  • Advocacy for early intervention and prevention
  • Education that helps adults recognize warning signs sooner
  • Systems-level reform so families are not missed or delayed
  • Support that reaches children before distress becomes overwhelming

Their long-term goal is clear and necessary: to reduce child and youth suicide by changing how and when support shows up.

This work is prevention-focused, compassionate, and deeply aligned with the values of the Holistic Healing Fair™.

Why Pay-What-You-Can Matters

We believe access to healing spaces should never be a barrier to care.

When families are under financial strain, wellness and mental health support are often the first things to be put aside. A pay-what-you-can model removes that pressure and allows people to participate without fear, shame, or exclusion.

Just as importantly, it allows those who are able to give to help support prevention work that protects children and youth beyond the walls of our events.

Pay-what-you-can is not about lowering value.
It is about widening access.

How This Creates Real Impact

Entrance donations support Myles Ahead’s prevention work by helping fund:

  • Awareness and education around early signs of distress
  • Advocacy for earlier and more effective mental health support
  • Conversations that reduce stigma and encourage help-seeking
  • Systems change so fewer children fall through the cracks

When prevention is supported early, crisis can often be avoided.
When crisis is avoided, lives are protected.

What This Means for Our Community

If you attend a Holistic Healing Fair™, you are welcome whether or not you donate.

If you choose to donate, you are contributing to suicide prevention in one of its most effective forms: early support, awareness, and access.

Both matter. Both are valued.

This approach reflects the heart of our community and the belief that care should be inclusive, compassionate, and shared.

Moving Forward Together

We are proud to walk alongside Myles Ahead in 2026 and to take this step toward greater accessibility and meaningful impact.
