We all have an inner voice.
The challenge isn’t hearing it.
It’s knowing which voice is speaking.
Many people spend years trying to find their intuition.
But intuition usually isn’t louder.
It’s quieter.
The problem isn’t that your intuition isn’t speaking…
It’s that fear is speaking over it.
Fear vs. Intuition
| Fear | Intuition |
|---|---|
| Wants certainty | Accepts uncertainty |
| Feels urgent | Feels calm |
| Focuses on what could go wrong | Focuses on what feels right |
| Replays the same worries | Offers quiet clarity |
| Keeps you safe | Helps you grow |
One isn’t “good” and the other “bad.”
Fear exists to protect you.
Intuition exists to guide you.
The wisdom comes from knowing which one is leading your decisions.
Your Body Often Knows First
Before your mind finds the words, your body usually notices.
Pay attention to what happens when you’re making an important decision.
Do you feel tense, rushed, or like you’re trying to convince yourself?
Or do you feel lighter… calmer… more at peace?
Sometimes your body recognizes alignment before your mind understands it.
Try This
The next time you’re faced with a decision, pause and ask:
- Am I reacting to fear or responding with intention?
- If nobody else’s opinion mattered, what would I choose?
- Will this decision still feel true after I’ve slept on it?
Fear gets louder.
Intuition gets clearer.
The more you create moments of stillness, the easier it becomes to recognize the difference.
Because the loudest voice in your mind isn’t always the one that deserves the final say.
“Your intuition rarely shouts. It patiently waits for the noise to settle.”
